A new tradition begins in Nashville with hopeful fans launching lucky catfish onto the home ice, while watching their cinderella Predators skate all the way into the Stanley Cup Finals.
Edmonton's young phenom Connor McDavid is the league's top scorer and MVP with 100 total points (30 goals, 70 assists). Penguin's Sidney Crosby scores the most goals (44) and earns another Conn Smythe trophy as playoffs MVP. Sergei Bobrovsky of the Columbus Blue Jackets wins the Vezina as the league's top goaltender with an impressive 2.06 GAA, and 93.1 save %.
