The Canadien's Larry Robinson wins the Conn Smythe for his outsdanding play in the playoffs. Mike Bossy (53g, 38 a, 91 p) of the Islanders takes home the Calder Trophy as the NHL's top rookie, while his teammate Bryan Trottier leads the league with 77 assists.
