ICE NUTZ WHA 1976-77 SEASON TEAM CARDS
Quebec defeats Winnipeg 4 games to 3 to win it's first Avco Cup. It is the only WHA finals series to go a full seven games. The Nordique's Serge Bernier is named playoffs MVP with 36 points in 17 games, while his teammate Real Cloutier leads the league with 141 regular season points (66 goals, 75 assists). Houston's Ron Grahame (2.74 GAA, 4 shutouts) wins the Ben Hatskin Trophy as the WHA's top goalie, while Robbie Ftorek (46 goals, 71 assists, 117 points) takes home the Gordie Howe trophy as league MVP. Speaking of Gordie, Mr. Hockey is now 48 years old and still plenty productive with 68 points in only 62 games. Anders Hedberg of the Winnipeg Jets leads the WHA with 70 goals scored.
You will receive 12 un-cut TEAM CARDS. Each team features 15 skaters (3 suggested lines) and up to 3 Goaltenders. Also included is an ADDITIONAL PLAYERS ROSTER SHEET featuring 5 additional skaters from each of the 12 teams to be used for substitutions and/or a 4th line. A total of over 265 players, each with specific offensive and defensive ability ratings. Also included is an Instant Game Results chart which allows you to play full team schedules within minutes.
