ICE NUTZ NHL 1990-91 SEASON TEAM CARDS
Pittsburgh's Mario Lemieux misses much of the regular season due to a back injury, but he gets healthy for the playoffs and leads the Penguins to their first Stanley Cup. The over-achieving Minnesota North Stars are the first Norris Division team to reach the Finals since the 1981 realignment. St. Louis Right Winger Brett Hull scores 86 goals (3rd all time) and wins the Hart Memorial Trophy. Gretzky, leads the league in total points (163) and assists (122). Chicago's Ed Balfour (2.47 GAA) brings home Vezina Trophy honors. Boston, Calgary, Chicago, Los Angeles and St. Louis all finish with 100 points or more, but only Boston is able to reach the Conference Finals.
