The Philadelphia Flyers, A.K.A. "The Broad Street Bullies", bruise their way to a third straight Stanley Cup final, but they are unable to complete the championship three-peat. A deeply talented, fearless Montreal squad stands up to the bully Flyer's and sweeps the series 4 games to zero. There are five teams with 100+ points...Montreal (127), Philadelphia (118), Boston (113), Buffalo (105) & the New York Islanders (101). Blockbuster trade of the year...Boston sends hall of fame center Phil Esposito and star defenceman Carol Vadnais to the Rangers for star center Jean Ratelle and superstar defenceman Brad Park. 

Flyer's center Bobby Clarke (119 points, 136 penalty minutes) is league MVP again. Montreal's Guy Lafleur (56 g, 69 a, 125 p) wins the Art Ross Trophy, while his teammate Ken Dryden (42-10-8, 2.03 GAA) brings home the Vezina. 

You will receive 18 un-cut TEAM CARDS. Each team features 15 skaters (3 suggested lines) and 2 Goaltenders. Also included is an ADDITIONAL PLAYERS ROSTER SHEET featuring 5 additional skaters from each of the 18 teams to be used for substitutions and/or a 4th line. A total of 396 players, each with specific offensive and defensive ability ratings. Also included is an Instant Game Results chart which allows you to play full team schedules within minutes.
