ICE NUTZ NHL 1982-83 SEASON TEAM CARDS

The Edmonton Oilers dethrone the four time defending Stanley Cup champion New York Islanders 4 games to 1 in the Cup finals. The defeat marks the end of one of the greatest dynasties in sports history and the beginning of another in Edmonton. The Oilers, for the third season in a row, set a new record for most goals (446) in a season, and their new captain, Wayne Gretzky continues to put up video game stats with 87 goals and 118 assists for an eye-popping, 205 points. The Great One wins his fifth straight Hart Trophy and his fourth straight Art Ross. The season's second leading scorer is Gretzky's teammate Paul Coffey, whose 126 points (40 goals & 80 assists), makes him the third defenceman to score 100 points in a season. At the tender age of 18, Buffalo's Tom Barasso (2.86 gaa) wins Calder Memorial rookie of the year honors, and the Vezina Trophy as the league's top netminder. Montreal's enforcer, Chris Nilan leads the league with 338 penalty minutes. Five teams crack 100 points in the regular season (Edmonton 119, Boston 104, New York Islanders 104, Buffalo 103, and Washington 101). 

You will receive 21 un-cut TEAM CARDS. Each team features 15 skaters (3 suggested lines) and up to 3 Goaltenders. Also included is an ADDITIONAL PLAYERS ROSTER SHEET featuring 5 additional skaters from each of the 21 teams to be used for substitutions and/or a 4th line. A total of over 460 players, each with specific offensive and defensive ability ratings. Also included is an Instant Game Results chart which allows you to play full team schedules within minutes.
