Find yourself immersed in a world of momentum changing 3 pointers, fast-breaks, steals, soul-crushing blocks, clutch free throws, and last second buzzer beaters. Your decisions are dictated by your team's style of play. Are they built to shoot threes, or do they have a dominant big man to feed in the paint? Do they thrive in transition, or are they better off patiently working the ball up the court? You'll need to know your team if you want a shot at championship glory.

The 1990-91 NBA SEASON

It is the dawn of the Bulls legendary dynasty. Chicago dominates the Eastern Conference playoff field losing only one game in three series. The Bulls then go on to defeat an aging Lakers squad 4 games to 1 in the finals. Michael Jordan is named finals MVP. The league regular season is highly competitive, especially in the West. There are nine teams with 50 wins or more. They are Chicago (61-21), Boston (56-26) and Detroit (50-32) in the East, along with Portland (63-19), LA Lakers (58-24), Phoenix (55-27), San Antonio (55-27), Utah (54-28) and Houston (52-30) in the West.

The league is packed with stars. Veterans like Bird, Magic, Parish, McHale, Moses Malone and Bernard King may be getting long in the tooth, but are still highly productive. Then you have the young guns including Jordan, Barkley, Olajuwon, Ewing, Drexler, David Robinson, Karl Malone, Stockton, Pippen, Rodman, Mullin and many more.

Jordan leads the association in scoring with 31.5 ppg and is named league MVP for a second time. The Admiral David Robinson tops all rebounders with 13 per game for the Spurs, while Utah's John Stockton leads the league with 14.2 assists. Hakeem Olajuwon tops the NBA with 3.9 blocks per game for the Rockets, but it is Motown's Dennis Rodman who claims Defensive Player of the Year honors. Derrick Coleman of the New Jersey Nets (18.4/10.3/2.2) is named Rookie of the Year.

You will receive 27 un-cut TEAM CARDS. Each team features 10 ballers (5 starters & 5 back-ups) for a total of 270 players, each with specific offensive and defensive ability ratings. Also included is an Instant Game Results chart which allows you to play full team schedules within minutes.
