Historic Teams Set 5:

1964 BUFFALO BILLS: The Bills win their first of two consecutive AFL championships behind gun-slinging QB Jack Kemp, a power running game featuring Cookie Gilchrist and a stifling defense.

1995 DALLAS COWBOYS: America's team wins it's third Lombardi trophy in four years and it's fifth Super Bowl victory in franchise history. The roster is loaded with talent including future Hall of Famers: Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin, Larry Allen, Deion Sanders and Charles Haley.

1962 GREEN BAY PACKERS: With three yards and a cloud of dust, many argue this is the greatest Packer team of all time. In addition to a devastating power running game led by Jim Taylor and an epic O-line, the 1962 Packers have a rock-solid defense featuring defensive linemen Willie Davis and Henry Jordan, linebacker Ray Nitschke, cornerback Herb Adderley and safety Willie Wood.

1973 MIAMI DOLPHINS: The Fins win back to back Super Bowls. Although this squad is unable to duplicate last season's perfect 17-0 record, many folks (including former Miami players) consider the '73 team to be better than '72. The Dolphin's "No-Name" defense holds opponents to just 10.7 points per game.

1998 MINNESOTA VIKINGS: With one of the most explosive offenses in NFL history, the 15-1 Vikings are favored to win the Super Bowl. Instead, they suffer a devastating overtime loss at home to Atlanta in the NFC championship. Led by Randall Cunningham, Chris Carter, Robert Smith and rookie phenom Randy Moss, Minnesota scores a record 556 points in the regular season.

2007 NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS: The Patriots are the first team to go undefeated in a 16 game regular season and are on track to trump '72 Miami's perfect 17-0 season with an unblemished 19-0 record of their own. But the party is spoiled when the New York Giants engineer one of the greatest upsets in sports history with a 17-14 victory in Super Bowl XLII. Tom Brady throws 50 touchdown passes and is named league MVP. Randy Moss breaks the single season TD record for receivers with 23.

.

1980 PHILADELPHIA EAGLES: Head coach Dick Vermeil leads the Eagles to their first Super Bowl appearance in franchise history. Though they are defeated by the Oakland Raiders, the 20-7 NFC Championship victory over Dallas stands as one of the proudest moments of the Super Bowl era in Eagles history.

1975 PITTSBURGH STEELERS: Pittsburgh defends it's title and repeats as Super Bowl champions. The Steel Curtain defense is in peak form while the offense scores more points than any other Steelers squad until 2010. The team's +211 point differential stands as the best in franchise history.
