2007-08 Boston Celtics: Defensive Player of the Year Kevin Garnette and Finals MVP Paul Pierce lead the Celtics to their 17th championship. Ray Allen is clutch from beyond the arc.

 

1997-98 Chicago Bulls: Da Bulls cap off their 90's dynasty with a sixth championship in eight years. Jordan is named league MVP for the fifth time and retires for the second time after the season.

 

1974-75 Golden State Warriors: Rick Barry averages 30.6 points per game and leads the league in free throw percentage and steals. Forward Jamaal Wilkes is named Rookie of the Year. The Warriors sweep the Washington Bullets to win their third championship.   

 

1994-95 Houston Rockets: Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon is named Finals MVP leading the Rockets to back to back championships. Kenny Smith is deadly from beyond the arc with a .429 three point percentage. 

 

1984-85 Los Angeles Lakers: The Lakers avenge their previous season's game seven loss to the Celtics and claim their ninth championship. Maybe the best Laker's team of the 80's. Jabbar is named Finals MVP. 

 

1983-84 Milwauke Bucks: The Bucks make it all the way to the conference finals with a great defense led by Defensive Player of the Year, Sidney Moncrief. Unfortunately their championship run falls short when they meet up with one of the greatest Celtics squads of all-time. 

 

1952-53 Minneapolis Lakers: George Mikan leads the Lakers to back to back titles. The Lakers continue to be the dominant force of the era winning their fourth NBA championship.

 

1968-69 Oakland Oaks: The great Rick Barry and Rookie of the Year Warren Jabali lead the Oaks to a 60-18 record and an ABA championship in the team's second season.

 
 

1966-67 Philadelphia 76'ers: League MVP Wilt Chamberlain leads one of the greatest teams in NBA history to a 68-13 record and a second championship. 

 
 

1976-77 Portland Trail Blazers: After finishing just third in the Western Conference, the Blazers catch fire in the playoffs and win their first championship despite losing their first two games against the 76'ers in the finals. Bill Walton is named finals MVP.  

 

2002-03 San Antonio Spurs: Tim Duncan wins all kinds of honors inluding League and Finals MVP. The Spurs claim their second NBA title. It is David "The Admiral" Robinson's final season.

 

1970-71 Utah Stars: Center Zelmo Beaty leads the Stars to their first and only ABA championship in the team's first season in Utah.
